Outstanding occlusal registration
Modern Materials® Coprwax Wafers softens quickly in a water bath or open flame but sets hard for an accurate registration when chilled.
The copper flakes found within the wafer distribute heat evenly – which is particularly important when creating a fast chill in the patient’s mouth. This is a great feature in orthodontia, when you are often dealing with impatient children!
Coprwax contains a thin sheet of aluminum foil laminated between two layers of wax. The foil prevents the teeth from cutting through, thus reducing distortion and helping to ensure proper relation of models when mounting on an articulator.
